Recruiting Child Care Champions
Washington STEM knows advanced STEM learning is built on a foundation of quality early learning—which only two-thirds of Washington families have access to.
As communications manager, I developed a digital media campaign to recruit business leaders from across the state to advocate for investments in quality early learning. I developed a website, researched key messaging, and crafted a two-year digital campaign with social media and blogs to highlight the real costs of quality care and what is at stake if our state doesn’t invest in a future ready workforce.

Online event: International Women’s Day
At Refugee Women’s Alliance, International Women’s Day is a vibrant annual event. Hundreds of community members come together to celebrate the lives they have rebuilt in King County with food, music, dance, and art. As communications officer during the pandemic, I designed an online celebration of some of the inspiring women in the community by publishing their profiles and stories.
